FACILITIES OF SEAPORT INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure facilities are necessary to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the seaport as a whole. The developed infrastructure of the port makes it attractive for shipping companies.

 

The infrastructure facilities include the fairways and approach channels, manoeuvring and operational waters, protective structures, leading marks, AIDS to navigation (SNO), vessel traffic control system (SUDS), buildings of the port administration, etc.

 

More than 30 infrastructure facilities of sea ports were built or are under construction on the basis of the Institute’s projects, including:

 

Sea ports: St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Baltiysk, Vysotsk, Bronka, Marine Facade. - Approach channels and waters;

Sea ports: Ust-Luga, Bronka, Sea facade. Navigational reconstruction;

Sea ports: Ust-Luga, Sabetta. Protective structures and ice barriers;

Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport. Port fleet base;

St. Petersburg. Berthing complex for holding anchorage of icebreaker fleet, etc.
