OIL, OIL PRODUCTS AND LPG TRANSSHIPMENT PORT COMPLEXES

The Institute develops projects of specialized marine handling terminals for export of oil, oil products, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

 

The technology of product receipt, storage, processing, account and loading on sea transport, the necessary facilities and equipment, project documentation (in full) for approval and expert examination are usual issues solving as a part of the project.

 

JSC «GT Morstroy» has developed more than 40 projects of complexes; terminals with a total cargo turnover of more than 124 million tons per year have been constructed.

 

Such large complexes as:

 

Port complexes of oil and oil products handling:

 

• Specialized Oil Seaport «Kozmino»of «Eastern Siberia― the Pacific Ocean» pipeline system;

• The Port Of Vysotsk. Oil Products Distribution Transshipment Complex «LUKOIL-II»;

• St. Petersburg Oil Terminal;

• Taganrog ship-repair yard. Oil Products Transshipment Complex, etc.

 

LNG and LPG Port Facilities:

 

• Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport. LPG Transshipment Complex;

• Seaport near the settlement of Sabetta on the Yamal Peninsula. Facilities of the preparatory period. Berths No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, shore protection, onshore facilities;

• District of compressor station «Portovaya». Complex for LNG production, storage and offloading;

• Kaliningrad, Russia. Terminal for LNG receiving and regasification, etc.

OFFSHORE OIL AND OIL PRODUCTS TRANSHIPMENT COMPLEXES

 

Offshore complexes are designed to provide all-weather mooring of storage tankers, for delivery of oil or oil products on them by small vessels-carriers, accumulation of large shiploads and transshipment of cargo to large sea-going tankers.  Approach channels, maneuvering waters, mooring berths, navigational aids, pumping equipment, boom containment, etc. are designed as a part of offshore terminals.

 

Mooring berths have sufficient bearing capacity to provide reliable mooring of tankers, transshipment of oil products, convenience and safety of approach and mooring.

 

The Institute has developed 11 offshore complexes

• Murmansk region. Offshore Oil Transshipment Complex on the inner roadstead of Kola Bay, to the south of Cape Mishukov;

• Murmansk region. Offshore Oil Transshipment Complex in the bay of Kulonga, etc
