FERRY AND PASSENGER COMPLEXES

In countries with access to the sea, the delivery of goods and passengers has been widely developed by ferry (including rail and RO-RO), passenger ships and cruise liners.  For this purpose, specialized ferry, passenger and universal sea ports and terminals are being constructed, equipped with the appropriate infrastructure: special quays, ramps, passages, passenger galleries, stations, facilities of the state border crossing point, etc.

 

JSC «GT Morstroy» has completed more than 10 complexes of this type. Complexes with cargo turnover of more than 20 million tons per year and passenger turnover of more than 4 million passengers per year were built by the Institute’s projects.

 

Such large complexes as:

• Baltiysk. Railway ferry complex in the basin No. 4;

• Baltiysk. Passenger and cargo terminal in the basin No. 3;

• Marine passenger terminal «Marine façade”;

• Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport. Automobile and railway ferry complex, etc.
