DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT OF PORT AND TRANSSHIPMENT COMPLEXES

Each port or handling terminal design is based on a carefully developed CONCEPT, which allows determining the purpose, scope of work and technical parameters of the facilities.  The concept allows to determinate a rational territory layout, optimization of structures and equipment, substantiation of the construction budget, and the calculation of operation efficiency indicators. The concept is a basis for development programs, general plan layout diagrams, and other basic documents.

 

JSC «GT Morstroy» has developed more than 15 ports and handling complexes development concepts.

 

Design Institute JSC «GT Morstroy» is the developer of documentation of «The Scheme of Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport»:

Scheme for a total turnover of 120 million tons in 2007;

Updated cargo turnover of 120 million tons in 2009;

Updated cargo turnover of 193 million tons in 2013.

 

This work is a basis for the development program of financing of Ust-Luga port facilities from the Federal budget.

 

Marine transshipment terminals with a total cargo turnover of 72.1 million tons per year were designed, built and commissioned on the basis of Institute’s design.

 

And also, storage and offloading complexes of LPG and light oil products, the formation of waters and approaches to the terminal, as well as the protection from the ice effects, sediments and waves:

LPG Reloading Complex in Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport;

Port Protective Structure of the Southern water area of Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport;

Formation of the Southern and Northern parts of waters of Ust-Luga Commercial Seaport;

 

Starting with the Declaration of Intent (in 2010), JSC «GT Morstroy» has performed a number of works for the  seaport near the settlement of Sabetta on the Yamal Peninsula.

 

JSC «GT Morstroy» is the developer of project and detailed design documentation (PD, DDD), also performing a supervision of the facilities of the preparatory period (OPP): berths No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, shore protection, onshore facilities. In addition, it’s the developer of PD and DDD of the main facilities of the seaport (OOMP): the root part of the South-Eastern ice protection structure, IZU (artificial land) with shore protection.

 

These works have given occasion to obtaining the positive conclusions of Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
